Following a highly successful Mediterranean & middle Eastern tour, Loreena McKennitt has added two more concerts to her Canadian summer festival tour — she and her band will present two performances in her hometown of Stratford, Ontario.

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Quinlan Road has put together a compilation of 10 of Loreena's songs, all with distinctly Irish themes. This means you can now have most of her Irish songs all in one convenient place. The compilation is available in a variety of formats: as medium and high fidelity downloads, as well as CD format from Loreena's own Quinlan Road website. You can also download it from iTunes.

As some of you may be aware, a settlement was reached in the McKennitt/Ash privacy case and the press release concerning this development can be found here .
Many of you have been very supportive of Loreena during this past couple of years and she is deeply appreciative of that support. We also realise that some people may have questions and concerns regarding this case. For the first time Loreena is in a position to discuss them openly without compromising the legal process. To this end and for a limited time. we are opening up our message board to accommodate that discussion.

| HOUSE OF LORDS UPHOLDS LANDMARK COURT OF APPEAL DECISION ON PRIVACY |

Today in London, the House of Lords rejected an application for permission to appeal brought by Niema Ash against the Court of Appeal decision which had upheld Canadian singer Loreena McKennitt's right to “the human dignity of privacy”. The judgement has huge implications for the right to privacy of anyone facing intrusive media scrutiny.
